Epiphany Sept
With over 457k followers on Instagram, Shiwana Francis better known as Big Beautiful Heart aka Epiphany Sept is a confident, kind-hearted, and loving tigress, plus-size influencer, motivational speaker, an icon of hope, teacher, writer, poet, and fashion designer based in the USA. While she’s nice, bold, and outspoken, she’s ferocious against hatred of others.
She was raised by a single mother and maternal grandmother who stressed getting an education because they were in the working class. It was this focus that pushed her to finish college and get her degree in English. Growing up, she struggled with low self-esteem from childhood and, adult life simply because she was not easily accepted in the BBW community since she didn’t fit the mold of what many models appear as in the plus-size community. At a point in her life, she resorted to prayer, therapy, and supportive friends to help her gain more confidence.

After a while, she quickly developed a sense of belonging where she had to think to herself about those who needed her. She had to encourage others to live more freely by working on her own freedom. That way, she could equip others with the thought processes that held her back.
Moving forward, she devised a plan to just step out on faith and trust the process. At this point, she had fully embraced herself for who she was and how she had been made by God. “If we duplicate others we sniff out our voice and we make not the melody that Heaven designed,” she thought to herself. Since then, she has been a big inspiration to most netizens, specifically both plus-size men and women. She recently launched a fashion line a few weeks ago called Fly Heart and it’s made for women to feel free and sexy, but classy.

According to her, her biggest inspiration is seeing other people shining through her advocacy helps her feel she has accomplished something more powerful than what she could do just for herself. Human investment is our truest legacy. For plus-size women who are still coiled in their shells for the fear of being judged, her message to them is “Loving yourself is easier if you look at yourself as a custom-made being in existence.”
Speaking in an exclusive interview with BeenieWords, she shared the following nuggets of wisdom for her fans:
1. Love yourself and forgive your mistakes.
2. Step out and try new things. It doesn’t hurt to try and fail as much as it does watching others.
3. Love others as yourself… they need forgiveness just like you do. Moreover, you can also achieve greatness, just like them.
