Muse Media Networks’ Music Services Manager Yaw Boadu-Ayeboafoh has been selected to be part of the fifth edition of the prestigious 3Music Awards voting Academy.
The Academy is made-up of industry personalities whose votes count in selecting the winners of the 3Music Awards. The Academy voting represents 30% of the total vote count.
Yaw Boadu-Ayeboafoh is a media personality and music executive with close to a decade in the entertainment space.
He set up his first record label as a level 200 student in the University of Ghana with his partners in 2012 named Gymoff Hitfactory Ghana now named WeAreGHG.
He followed the path of his Father the renowned Ghana journalist Yaw Boadu-Ayeboafoh as a writer, starting to write on the entertainment space in Ghana. After School, he spent two years as a producer at MultiMedia Ghana’s Hitz FM, where under the guidance of Mark Okraku-Mantey (Deputy Minister for Tourism and Creative Arts) he produced shows like Showbiz Fylla, The Cruise Control, Hitz Gallery, This Is Gospel and Yaad Settingz.
He moved on to television where he produced Pan African Television’s flagship entertainment show the Swift. He led the team to grow the show as the most-watched program on the channel in 2017.
In 2018, he officially moved to Muse Africa as a content writer and was promoted to Music Service Manager in late 2020.
Yaw also referred to as NYB, has published articles on platforms such as Ghanaweb, Myjoyonline, and many more. He has also worked on punditry duties on Starr FM, Rainbow FM, and Oneplay Africa.
He currently runs his own podcast that reviews African albums and EPs named the NYB LIVE Album Review (NLAR Podcast) and is also an active YouTuber with the main concentration on Music and events.
Yaw has worked on publicity services for talents such as Kuami Eugene, Teflon Flexx, King Paluta, Onyansapo, Renner, and more and currently, works as Management lead for ‘Lonely’ hitmaker Jah Lead.
