Ghanaian songstress, Nafisatu Kassim, popularly known in the industry as Naf Kassi says she’s sad for the current generation because they do not have the opportunity to listen to good songs.’
According to the “Me Mbo Tuo” singer, while growing up, she use to listen to songs from, Kojo Antwi, Daddy Lumba and that inspires the good and deep songs she produces as an artiste.
“We have made listeners like prisoners. Many songs produced lately are one way, selling the same message as compared to the days of AB Crinstil, CK Mann, Nana Ampadu and others.
Many music lovers are been treated likes prisoner because most of us are in a harry for a hit song.
“Even though most people pays less attention to lyrics now are days but lyrics form part of the reason a song will cement in the industry or expire”.
She also continued that, if she was to be born in this generation, she would have been really sad considering the fact that, enough thinking does not go into songs produced lately.
Naf Kassi, who is undoubtedly one of the best female singers from western region, is set to release another hit single soon.
