MUSIGA entreats all to engage peaceful Elections

Press Release

MUSIGA entreats all to engage peaceful Elections

As Ghanaians prepare to cast their votes on Saturday, December 7, the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) calls for peaceful, credible, free, and fair elections. We commend all musicians who have contributed to this vital cause through their songs advocating for a peaceful electoral process.

MUSIGA also extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Ghanaian public for their exemplary conduct in maintaining peace during this election period. We must continue to uphold this spirit of tranquility before, during, and after the elections.

The Union urges all citizens to exercise restraint and composure, regardless of the electoral outcomes. Elections are not meant to divide us. They rather provide an opportunity to choose from the best development options presented by our political parties and candidates.

Let us therefore come together as one nation, using our voices and actions to promote unity and peace. Together, we can ensure that our democracy thrives in a respectful and harmonious environment.
