The maiden edition of “A Pint 4 a life” blood donation has received huge commendations in the capital of western region ( Sekondi-Takoradi) and the Takoradi Technical University community as the founder, Nana Quasi-Wusu popularly known as PM opens the eye of some Ghanaians who didn’t see the relevance of blood donation.

PM foundation in collaboration with Nzima Mensah hall of Takoradi Technical University(TTU) project came off Last Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the Acoustic Arena of the Hall.

PM set forth to donate as the health facility in partner, Holy Child Catholic Hospital and their medical expertise directed the event smoothly with no complications.

Donors aside getting amazing packages from sponsors of the event also got entertained with by DJs and the Jama team of Nzima Mensah hall.

The exercise was also graced by the presence of the SRC president Grace Enyonam, who before she donated encouraged her fellow students not to be scared to come on board.

Nana Quasi-Wusu speaking on how the idea came off revealed that;
“Aside Dine with the street (which is the known events by PM foundation which is held every December) where the foundation picks a deprived community and goes all out to screen, feed and have fun with the kids ) , he considered the stress and mortality caused by loss of blood in our hospitals thereby discussing with his team. PM also revealed that the reason why he partnered with Nzima Mensah hall is because he is an alumnus.

At the end of the donation, eighty five (85) people were recorded to be present but eighty (80) of them were eligible to donate as the five (5 ) could not. Follow PM Foundation on all socials @pm__foundation. For any enquiries or support for projects call 0245 995 333 Or 0507 111 915.
