Pzeefire
The now famous Pzeefire who combines Passion Zeal Effort and Energy to his music craft has listed Worlasi, M.anifest, Wiyaala, Mugeez and Paedae as his top 5 Ghanaian artists he would love to work with. The Ghanaian based Nigerian alternative rapper / singer was on #DayBreakHitz with Andy Dosty yesterday to throw more light on his protest song “Suffer Suffer” in connection with #EndSars protest in Nigeria.
According to him, because he’s not in Nigeria to join the peaceful protest, it doesn’t stop him from protesting so he did the song “Suffer Suffer” even though it was originally recorded for WAN Show, a project that featured Salif Keita, Angelique Kidjo, Freddy Mayway and other legends.
In response to a question Andy asked regarding how easy or difficult it is to blow in Nigeria, Pzee replied, Nigeria is a big country and very competitive but there are only few opportunities. He even shared the challenges of blowing up as an upcoming artist in Nigeria based on the high their population and the fact that everybody is fighting for the same opportunities. Aside from talent, one needs powerful financial strength to make things happen in addition to having the right network of people to work with, he concluded.
