R2Bees headlines 8th Edition of the Shutdown All White Invasion Concert

 

Ghana’s globally celebrated duo R2Bees is set to headline the 8th edition of the Shutdown All White Invasion Concert in Minneapolis on August 15, 2025. Known for their fusion of Afrobeats, hip-hop, and R&B, R2Bees—comprising Faisal Hakeem and Rashid Mugeez—will bring their infectious rhythms and iconic hits like “Slow Down,” “Kiss Your Hands,” “Tonight,” and “Life” to The Cabooze in downtown Minneapolis.

Organized by Julian Asiedu, widely known as Jagonzy, and the Shutdown Boys, the Shutdown All White Invasion has become a cultural staple in the Twin Cities. Beyond a music concert, the event celebrates African culture and fosters community through immersive experiences, fashion showcases, live performances, and interactive cultural exhibitions. It provides a platform for dialogue, appreciation, and unity among diverse communities in Minnesota.
The event also features an exciting lineup of local talent, including Foreignward, Rudeboy Solo, Nilo Boy, H Hardy, YOQB, Dat Boi Tropical, No. Bodyu, P Willz, Koo Wiase, Zennah, YQ Solo, and more.

The DJ roster includes dj lyriks, dj eazy e, dj elmara, dj kuda, dj game, dj soundtainer, dj mkz x dj d-waynne, dj famous, dj oceeking, hidden dj, dj boziah, and others.

Hosts KMJ – The Royal Host and Ghanaian Rozay – Mouth of the South will guide the night with energy and charisma.

 

The event takes place at The Cabooze with doors opening at 5:00 PM. Show starts at 6:00 PM and ends at 11:00 PM, followed by an after-party at The Bazemnt. The event is strictly 18+, and tickets can be purchased at www.cabooze.com.
