An Accra-based Ghanaian Music Record Label, named RNL Music Worldwide, has officially launched its operations at a press soirée on Friday, June 21, 2024 at BTC Lounge Bar in Tema.
In a communiqué by the label, they are poised to producing and promoting Ghanaian music talents across the length and breadth of the country, with special focus on the less privileged talents. This they said will help nurture the talents who don’t have the willpower to fund their own career.
RNL Music Worldwide which already has 2 Signees — Yaa Shon Dem and Ovadem — are ready and willing to connect with more talents to sign on to their label. The CEO of the record label who is mentioned to have some deep roots in South Africa was very optimistic about pushing the frontiers with his artistes to bring all their dreams and aspirations to fruition.
RNL, an abbreviated form of “Rich Niggas Lifestyle” was a term coined by the CEO to represent the “not-so-revered” African talents who are often “underrated” for ulterior motives. With a passionate appeal, he sought to engage directly with the media and industry goons so the dream of RNL Music Worldwide enters not just mainstream Ghana, but the international stages with their artistes.
The event was attended by some notable faces from the Media and Music Fraternity such as Sammy Flex (Shatta Wale’s Manager), Elorm Beenie (Publicist and A&R for Selaviv Records and Events 21), Dessy Fayden of Metro TV Entertainment desk, among other notable faces. MC K.A.Y was the Master of Ceremony for the event. Below are some images from the official launch.
