Rocky Dawuni headlines at Afro Pfingsten Festival in Switzerland on June 6th

Accra, Ghana – June 4, 2025 – Ghanaian Afro Roots icon Rocky Dawuni is set to headline this summer’s Afro-Pfingsten Festival in Switzerland on Friday, June 6, 2025, bringing his signature blend of Reggae, Highlife and Afrobeats once again to the European stage. Known for his electrifying performances and socially conscious music, Dawuni will deliver a powerful set that underscores his commitment to unity and empowerment. Joining his all star band is legendary Ghanaian multi instrumentalist and producer, Kwame Yeboah.
This performance follows a year of significant achievements for Dawuni. In November 2024, he received his fourth Grammy nomination for Best Global Music Performance for his single “Rise” a track that has resonated globally with its message of resilience and collective action.The song is the first single from his forthcoming 9th studio album, with an exciting new single set to drop this summer!
Dawuni’s influence extends beyond music. In April 2025, he was a featured speaker at the 2nd Annual Future Forum during GRAMMMYS on the Hill in Washington, D.C., where he discussed the importance of protecting artists rights from the rise of AI. His advocacy continues through his work as a UN Goodwill Ambassador for the Environment for Africa amongst many other designations and activism projects including his own Rocky Dawuni Foundation.
