The call for prioritizing the creative art enclave has necessitated the C.E.O of 3 music award Sadiq Abdulai to spill out the need for government to satisfy the creative art in driving economic growth. This statement came to bare on Andy Dosty Daybreakhitz on the basis of ‘year of return’.
He reiterated the urgency for every government to put creative art on a national agenda just as other sectors and hammering on how showbiz being the catalyst, fed into the year of return by putting spotlight on Ghana and fueling tourism as a whole which brought prominent celebrities like Ludacris, Rick Ross and many which help contributes to nation building and upliftment.
He further praised the ruling government on ending the yeartwenty nineteen on a good note with emphasis dwelling on ‘year of return’ which contributed in reducing the state of complains and problems from citizenry on performance of the economy which has always been a ‘yearly ritual’ for every government on its third year running. This initiative diverged and rather brought attention to the numerous programs like Afronation festival, afrochella, Dirtyrave and the like which drove every foreigner into the country.
In stating how successful year of return was, he gave credit to honorable Akwasi Agyeman, CEO of Ghana Tourism Authority, for believing in the concept that it will reach the apex when none of the politicians saw the success coming.
He pleaded this year, ‘government should make it a point to make creative art a top agenda just as other sectors are important to them in their manifesto’ because it holds a lot of power.
He lauded the effort of hitz Fm in putting the government on its toes by pushing consistently taking on policy make unto the edge.
