Management of multiple awards winning Reggae/Ragga & Dance-hall recording and performing artiste; Stonebwoy, Burniton Music Group (BMG) has announced a series of concerts or tour dates to be hosted by their artiste in different cities, countries or locations across the globe.
The first wave of destination released highlighted eight American and two canadian cities as the venue for The BET Award winner’s 2020 debut North American concerts, most likely to include Europe and Africa too. The tour, powered by Duke Concept, will witness the Ghanaian celebrated artiste visiting Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Toronto etc.
The North American tour will commence of February 28th in Fort Lauderdale; Florida, and end on April 18th in Calgary, Canada. In perspective, he will be in Chicago on March 6th, and in less than 24hrs he will make his presence known in DMW on March 7th, 6days later, thus, March 13th, he will be in New York City, with an imidiate event on March 14th in Atlanta.
The Europe, America and a probable Africa tour is one of the well orchestrated mechanisms arrayed to promote his forthcoming professional music album, which is due for launch on thursday, 20th February, 2020. It is the best way to make revenue and is nearly guaranteed to make him more than streaming or merch sales. With this Stonebwoy will be able to establish himself within cities where current and potential fans live.
However, the three times (2015, 2018, & 2019) All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMAs) Reggae/Ragga & Dance-hall Artiste of the Year winner will live in Chicago, at the Alhambra Palace to headline Ghana’s 63rd independent concert on 6th March, 2020. He will be performing a host of his songs with the objective of thrilling and entertaining patrons.
Stonebwoy normally ragga in Jamaican Patois (Patwa or Patwah), and is considered a “multifaceted rapper” due to the various musical styles he possesses. In 2015, he received many awards and nominations ranging from “Artist of the Year” to “Album of the Year”. His sophomore album, Necessary Evil, was the recipient of 3 Ghana Music Awards from 6 nominations. Nana Appiah Mensah, CEO of gold dealership company Menzgold, sent out words of encouragement to Stonebwoy on Instagram for Stonebwoy being supportive.
He has been listed as part of the 2019 50 (fifty) young CEOs, by YCEO and Avance media this year. The list which was launched earlier in 2018, was set out to honor distinguished young individuals pursuing the course of providing solutions to some of Ghana’s pertinent problems.
