Stonebwoy successfully held a meeting with the press to couch in plans for 2020

And with the news which already had fans pontificating and anticipating came off with extra interesting details yesterday (7/2/2020) at Golden Tulip. Bhimnation demigod Stonebwoy met up with the press to couch in his plans to outdoor and push his forthcoming album, Bhim merchandise / shop, parting ways with Blakk Cedi & OV, VGMA ban married with other relevant issues of public interest.

1. Forthcoming Album:

With potentials of getting a Grammy nomination, Stonebwoy’s forthcoming 15 tracks album consists of reggae, dancehall and afrobeats. Coupled with top notch and praiseworthy sound production plus pregnant lyrics. It drops on his birthday which is 5 March 2020. Though the official album name wasn’t announced to the media, he promised to leak the album title before the official release date. He’ll climax 2020 with North American tour to promote the album to reach it’s attainable audience worldwide. Other tour territories and dates will be announced.

2. VGMA Ban:

As paradoxical as it may sound, Stonebwoy is literally happy about the ban because according to him it will help deter other artists from towing same lane with regards to the fracas the took place at last year’s award celebration. He also made it clear music itself is bigger than any award scheme and chipped in an iota of advise to the VGMA board to look at the contributive efforts of artists, credit their hard works and crown their success if the need be.

3. Bhim Merchandise / Shop:

Though the shop hasn’t been launched yet, it promises to be official launched in March. But it’s currently operating and can be located at Ashiaman. The ideology behind this is to exercise his entrepreneurial skills as a successful artist / entertainer. It is only right to open a Bhim shop for the purpose to sell the Bhim merchandise in the interest of the fans in and across the nation. This is purposely for the fans who helped the Bhim brand standout.

Some of the proceeds from the shop will go also into the Livingstone Foundation to help continue the good work to support humanity under the umbrella of corporate social responsibility.

4. Partying ways with Blakk Cedi & OV:

It’s not really clear as to what led to this drastic decision but due to the reshuffling in the camp of Burniton Music Group awhile back, there’s no more a working tie between Mohammed Cedi better known as Blakk Cedi who doubled as Stonebwoy’s former manager. He sounded the alarm OV had long been released off BMG yet she’ll always have the support and blessings from him and his team when the need be.

He also debunked rumors circulating that Wisdom Dzotsi is his new manager. Rather, he pointed him out to be his personal assistant.

5. Other Relevant Issues Of Public Interest:

Initially Boss Energy drink announced Stonebwoy as their brand ambassador but there were secondary conversations behind close doors unknown to the public. Fast forward, an opportunity knocked at his door with great benefits and possibilities, so Stonebwoy now owns a franchise of Boss Energy drink. Lookout for a big surprise coming your way to blaze the trail.

In addition, Stonebwoy made known to the press ways Ghanaians could support him and other acts to get to international scene by buying their songs / albums on all streaming platforms. And most importantly supporting their own instead of criticizing without credibility. Beside that, he advised the media to always push contents in the interest of Ghana to appeal to the interest of people living outside the country to drive our tourism.

In his closing remarks, he pleaded with gatekeepers to help debug the problems the creative industry is struggling with for the hope of a better tomorrow.
