Teflon Flexx earns new Chieftaincy title because of VGMA debut?

After beating both Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale in Muse Africa’s ‘Bangerz of the Quarter (BOQ)’ last month the winner of both ‘Introlude Song of the quarter’ and ‘The Afrobeats song of the Quarter, the Northern music pride, Teflon Flexx is also known as S.O.G seem like the reigning ‘Yisiarisa Nalima Nab of the Zi traditional area’.

 

In a short video sighted on his Instagram page, Teflon is seen sitting in the midst of some men perceived to be elders in a traditional Northern palace, all dressed in a smock and sitting on an animal skin. Teflon gives the impression of him being the Yisiarisa Nalima Nab of the Zi traditional area’ which is translated as the Head Chief of Musical Entertainment

The video is captioned “Officially enskinned as the Yisiarisa Nalima Nab of the Zi traditional area. Thank you, my people”

Could Teflon Flexx be the young Head chief of Musical Entertainment of Zi? This won’t be a surprise if the young artiste has been identified by his town elders to bestow him such title because, he works really hard to project both his talent, his region and culture.

Teflon Flexx has currently been nominated for this years’ VGMA Unsung artist of the Year.’ Which will be held this Saturday August 21.

Teflon has released bangers like, ‘Murder’, ‘Eskebelebe’, ‘ Oreo’ and his latest, ‘ Madina’ which is the anthem on the street which will fill the airwaves.

Teflon is in the category with Gyakie, Sherry Boss, Imrana, Abochie, and Kofi Jamar.

The awards scheme is designed to recognize, celebrate the hard work and dedication of various stakeholders and players in the music industry.

It’s been duly tagged as music’s biggest night in Ghana and this years’ edition marks over two decades of honoring deserving creatives in the music industry in Ghana and Africa at large.
