‘ToGetHer In Digital’ initiative goes virtual on April 17, 2020

ToGetHer In Digital, an initiative by Africa Digital Festival to empower young women and equip them with digital skills will on Friday, April 17, 2020, host its’ first virtual summit, ‘The ToGetHer Series’.
As part of the government’s agenda to protect Ghanaians from the COVID- 19 pandemics, ToGetHer In Digital is also in support of the #stayhomestaysafe campaign and be hosting their first Virtual Summit to be held on ZOOM ( a social network platform for Chat, video and audio meetings, conferences, training, etc.
The series which is under the theme ‘Getting more in digital; the challenges and proffered solutions’ will have  Yemi Falajayo (UN women) and Dario Bianchi (MTN Ghana) as Keynote Speakers.
According to the CVO Foster Kofi Sam, of ‘Africa Digital Festival’, the series will have Delila Kidanu (MEST AFRICA), Emmanuella Alimlim (MasterCard Foundation), Aurora Martey (World Bank), Emmaline Datey (ICS Africa) Sandra Ajaja (Fempower Africa), Adelaide Benneh Prempeh (World Bank consultant),  Lucy Nkosi( Forbes Africa), Candace Nkoth (UN Women), Gloria Boye (Deloitte Ghana), Venus Tawiah (NowAvailableAfrica) among other speakers
He said, “These women are great at what they do, and we are privileged to be their audience so they can share their knowledge with us. We appreciate them for accepting our request and their readiness to impact knowledge into today’s youth especially the future women of Africa.
The ToGetHer Series is all part of the activities towards the official launch of the Africa Digital Festival, a 3-day festival to unlock Africa’s Digital Future.
