You can’t discuss Afrobeats in the diaspora and leave my name out – Danny Lampo

Danny Lampo is the stage name that several people use to refer to the Ghanaian Afro beat musician Daniel Amponsah, who is presently located in Reading, in the United Kingdom. Danny Lampo started making music at a very young age and drew inspiration from the sounds and music of the place in which he found himself, particularly that of Africa.
He started learning different sounds in an effort to find his actual sound. However, he soon realised that the majority of the music out there all shares phonetic similarities and is too prevalent on the market. As a result, he decided to create his own distinctive sound (music) and fused it with Afro beat to which people will jam, and this marked the beginning of Danny’s career.
Danny started working on his music and released his first single, after sometimes he came back with another song titled “Paper” which he featured legendary dancehall artiste the late Sonni Balli the song became a monster hit in the UK and got on some big charts across the globe.
The song received overwhelming praise, which led to him receiving recognition in a variety of contexts and ultimately affording him the opportunity to perform with renowned individuals such as Samini, Kojo funds, Kwabena Kwabena, and a high number of others.
Since he began making music as a career, he has so far published more than ten singles, and the majority of his songs have been presented for the first time on BBC radio as well as featured on Capital Extra. This has both pushed and inspired him to utilize his music in a manner that would encourage others, affect people, and inspire them to do things the right way.
The goal of Danny is to collaborate with prominent figures in the music business like Wizkid, Davido, Burnaboy, Sarkodie, and a great number of others.
Danny is currently out with his first EP which has 6 solid songs, The EP titled “African Queen” was released just a month ago but has received tons of streams and airplay.
