As attested by one of the biggest music duos in West Africa, FBS (Famous But Simple) has revealed the basis upon which they were triggered to bounce back. Speaking in an exclusive interview with Jackie and Bliss on Ghone TV, they almost gave up on the music until they witnessed Highly Spiritual’s signee at an event in action performing. Upon witnessing such phenomenal stagecraft from Drew, they couldn’t help but level up their admiration and respect for his craft. It reminded them of the good old days when FBS was more popular than Covid-19.
All this while Mr Drew wasn’t aware he was being observed by the legends. Little did he know, he would be the main point of bringing them back. Fast forward, Aminu reached out to him via phone call to work on a single with him. Initially, the call took him by surprise simply because he had also planned to stage a surprise performance with them at the VGMAs hence he was finding the means to reach out to them. And boom, he had a call from them. Such a mysterious coincidence, isn’t it? In a nutshell, the timing was perfect. God’s plan.
Within some short period, they choreographed their performance for the VGMA23, and on that night, everyone was a living witness to greatness. They stole the night. Afterwards, they came up with the idea for their brand new smash single dubbed ‘Jo’, produced by Master Garzy and executively produced by Blue Sky Entertainment. It’s a major come-back project their currently promoting to reannounce their legendary presence and take off from where they left. ‘Jo’ is gradually becoming the people’s favourite and a national hit.
