Abiana: Theme Song for GMB 2022 isn’t just a song, it’s a Women’s Anthem!

Singer Abiana has opened up on the inspiration that went into the composition of the theme song for the 2022 edition of Ghana’s Most Beautiful reality show.

The soul-life musician said the song is not only for GMB but an anthem for women.

“It is not just only a song, it’s an anthem for women,” she said on Showbiz 360 on Friday, July 22.

“I want the stories of women to be told but as we are being told those stories, how best can we do it?

“We should just put it in a song; in a sweet melodic pattern so that even young girls, grown-ups or girls that are aspiring for great things can grow up and listen to this song and sing it every time so that they can be able to affirm all that they aspire.”

She was upbeat the song will stand the test of time by going beyond 2022 to reach generations yet unborn.

Born Eldah Naa Abiana Dickson, VGMA’s Best Female Vocalist of 2021 also hinted at a new song to be released at the end of the month.

She also told host Giovani on the show that she is an inde-artiste now.

She said she has been independent for the past six months. This is because her expiration date with record label +233 records was due.
