Recording imprint New League Music known for working with a plethora of stalwarts in the Jamaican music industry has once again scored another hit with their latest effort ‘Live For The Summer’.

With the song firmly entrenched on the playlist of every popular radio outlet and streaming platform across the diaspora, the label has now turned the promotional campaign up another notch with the released of an official video. According to Michaelius Phipps, Label Executive at New League Music,

“The feedback has been amazing so far and positive, everybody loves the song, it’s been getting heavy rotation on the radio both locally and abroad and for that, I have to give thanks. We have enlisted the services of Damaniac Visualz for the video which was released a few days ago. The fans have been requesting it for weeks now, so we are just obliging and regardless it was already a part of the campaign plan.”

Shot in Jamaica and the United Kingdom the video sees the dynamic trio living their best lives after being exonerated in a high-profile court case. When quizzed about feedback from the video Phipps stated,

“I try not to build up any expectations but I’m very optimistic the fans will appreciate the effort. They can expect nothing but fun and it’s a joy to watch. The project was well executed and we are happy with the outcome.”

Distributed by VPAL Music, the single which has helped to propel the career of New York-based recording artiste Ajji into the dancehall mainstream also features Busy Signal and Stylo G, flexing their lyricism on the sauce-filled record as they narrate about the opulent lifestyle and all its trappings. Ajji also recently brokered a partnership deal with corporate brand 876 Water for their summer campaign.

Alluding to what’s next, the New League boss said: “it’s just more work, so we can produce more hits like this and even bigger.”
