Foto Copy wins Ghana Music Awards USA emerging act of the Year

“School Dey Be” hitmaker Foto Copy has won the Emerging artiste of the year at the just ended Ghana Music Awards USA. 

 

The youngster shook off competition from Chief One, Fad lan and others to win the prestigious accolade. Foto Copy’s “School Dey Be” featured African dancehall king Shatta Wale. The video has hence surpassed 1 million views on YouTube making him the youngest musician in the history of Africa achieve that feet.

 

The 8-year old prodigy was also nominated at 3 music award as the next rated act from Central region only for him to lose the crown.  His latest song “Tomorrow” is trending on social media as the youngster seeks to inspire humanity towards generosity. The song featured South African legend Uhuru.

 

In 2020, Foto Copy performed his father’s songs at the Ghana Music Awards nominees announcement. The performance was done alongside his daddy who was billed to grace the event. He has evolved and is now one of the highest artists in Ghana and the highest kid star in Africa.
