Infinix Mobile — Cell Phone Company based in Ghana has gifted Chief One a big bag of freebies after he won “Next Rated Act” at this year’s 3 Music Awards, the 5th Edition.

The items included Infinix Smart Phone (Hot 11), Infinix Smart Band, Infinix Side Bag, Tripod Stand and an Infinix Bluetooth Speaker.

Chief One who went in a strong tie of a list of 16 nominees across all Regions in the country emerged winner of the topmost award in that category — “Next Rated Act”. The ‘Next Rated Act’ Award is presented to promising artistes representing their respective Regions, thus 16 of them were shortlisted and Chief One won over 15 others.

The awards night was held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at the Grand Arena; the category was specially sponsored by Infinix Ghana. Infinix Ghana in its quest to empower budding but promising Ghanaian artistes threw their weight behind that category.

Marketing Manager of Infinix Ghana, James Atta Mensah, who represented the Mobile Phone Company says, “Infinix Ghana is happy to be associated with 3 Music Awards and we sponsored this particular category because we want to boost the careers of promising musicians like Chief One who are doing tremendous works in their Regions. These are some products from our company to encourage the Winner of that category.”

Here’s a short video of the presentation, posted by Chief One on his instagram page:

Chief One in his response to the kind gesture says the items come in a s boost to his craft and “winning the Infinix Next Rated Act for this year is a motivation for me and I dedicate the award to the streets where I come from and my fans, they are the ones who have pushed me this far. And I promise to work harder and get bigger and better.”

Elorm Beenie, Ghana’s leading multiple award winning Publicist who has been the backbone of Chief One for the past 5 months did put in some word for his fast-rising talent as well. He said, “all these freebies and the award is good move to support Regional Artistes from the various (16) Regions across the country and should be a motivation for Regional Artistes to put in work and be recognized from where they are without necessarily moving to the city to be recognized. Just as Chief One made it, they can do it too. I pray Infinix Ghana continues to support young and struggling musicians like this so they can push their talent to higher levels.”

The items were presented to Chief One at the 3 Music Networks Headquarters in Accra on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. Below are some exclusive photos from the presentation. Photo Credits: @Pages_Studios (on Instagram).
