Juventus begins 2020/2021 Serie A opener with a 3-0 victory over Sampdoria

The Andrea Pirlo era at Juventus begins with a 3-0 victory over Sampdoria in their Serie A opener at Allianz Stadium. Goals from Dejan Kulusevski, Leonardo Bonucci and Cristiano Ronaldo guided the Bianconeri to the three points.

Pirlo wa appointed in August following the sacking of Maurizio Sarri, saw his reign get off to an impressive start at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday. 

Juve were not at their best, but were good enough when it mattered to get off the mark at the first time of asking. Pirlo will be satisfied, but will want to see more from his team in the future.

Juventus are next in Serie A action against Roma on the road next Sunday. Sampdoria are at home to Benevento next Saturday.
