Meet Kaabuame, Prince Bright of Buk Bak fame’s manager

He’s the main engine and backbone behind the comeback of Prince Bright of Buk Bak fame. In terms of creating awareness of his comeback, they released the signature single ‘Small Things’, getting him a new audience through promotion and marketing via the various digital streaming platforms including radio and TV lied on his shoulders.

He’s one of the best talent managers and digital marketers in Ghana and Africa. He had his basic education at Teshie Estate Preparatory JHS, graduated to Ningo SHS and later had an admission to IPMC where he studied website development, hardware and networking. Myananse.net was his first workplace in the business world.

He was given the role of the website manager. His duties were music upload, creating content, publishing stories, etc. Along the line, a colleague introduced him to renowned Ghanaian producer Kaywa. He became his PR, running a street promo, blogging and engaging in other errands. From then on he started meeting all the big music stars in Ghana back then. Another colleague introduced him to Mafia Entertainment as an artist manager.

Kaabuame x Castro

The first act he ever worked with was a duo called ‘Best Ones’. They had a hit song called ‘Maabina’ with over 4.6M views in a span of 8 years. Then, he was opportune to work with the late Castro somewhere 2012 – 2013 as his social media manager and radio promoter. His sister also introduced him to the late Ronnie Coaches of Buk Bak fame. He did radio promotions for him while educating him on the importance of digital marketing and streaming.

Kaabouame Ft Nautyca

He even created a website for BukBak. Castro also introduced him to Shilo as a manager. Later, he became Screwface’s PR, Christiana Awuni’s social media manager, Prince Bright’s manager, Nautyca’s PR, Fancy Gadam’s PR, Kofi Invincible’s manager and Nana Quame’s manager.

With over 11 years of working experience, Farouk Nii Ayi Laryea has established Kaarouk Media, a company the runs under the wings of digital marketing and talent management. He offers the following services:
1. Music promotion
2. Make sure they get a playlist
3. Communicating the details of how their songs are doing in the stores.
4. Mapping out marketing strategies.
5. Artist Grooming
6. YouTube monetization
7. Social management  His major achievements includes working and playing key roles in the career of the likes of Castro, Nana Quame, Buk Bak, Prince Bright, Nautyca, Nanky, Kofi Invincible, Kaywa, Shilo, Fancy Gadam, Christiana Awuni, just to mention a few.

To add up to that, he has established major connections, learnt beyond talent management and accumulated much knowledge about the business side of the music, working on the street promotion for Castro for his ‘Odo Pa‘ featuring Kinaata & Asamoah Gyan, grooming a new act called Kofi Invincible and been part of Sultan Music Incorporation, Nanky’s label. In a few years, Kaarouk Media is likely to sign new acts, grooming acts, event management, nurture people of interest into the profession, venturing into the radio and TV business.
