Music alone can’t sustain you, get a side job — Big Joe Chante

The TIMA Singer Big Joe Chante has stated in an interview with Obaapa Jaane on Ahotor Fm that it is helpful to have a Side Job apart from Music in Ghana since that’s what will sustain you when it’s not bringing in the needed income.

You might not always have a Hit or called up for shows so you need an additional Job that will feed the family always.

The Music is also a good booster of Business and can be used in pushing your other businesses as well.

Even in the West where you might say they understand and patronise Music well their Artistes still have other Jobs and typical examples are the Jay Z and the Rick Ross & Co.

As long as you are capable it’s good to do more than one Job especially in a country like Ghana where Music patronage is gradually picking up in terms of New media with regards to Streaming, downloading etc.

In conclusion he said Music is a Talent that you can never stop doing but if we can let’s add other Jobs since it only helps when the going gets slow.
