Asaase Radio 99.5fm, organizers of the much talked about “Asaase Sound Clash” have gone beyond Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy to include more Ghanaian artistes.

In the new line up is Singer MzVee, the reigning VGMA “Reggae/Dancehall Artiste Of The Year” Ras Kuuku and Kamelyeon (one of the well-groomed sound clash artistes).

Their announcement came 2 days prior to the show with flyers circulated on social media with their faces tagged to the event.

All 3 — MzVee, Ras Kuuku and Kamelyeon were seen during soundcheck for the event on Friday night, September 11, 2020. The 3 artistes are listed as undercards for the highly anticipated sound clash, an initiative by the radio station with affiliates such Ministry of Health, Ghana Tourism Authority, among others to eradicate the global pandemic, COVID-19.

Seani B — international jock who plays on BBC Radio 1Xtra as well as plays on Asaase Radio with his syndicated Reggae/Dancehall magazine is announced to co-host the event with Veteran Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall Crooner, Root Eye.

Themed “#Clash2CrushCOVID”, the initiative is meant to use the mammoth followers of both Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy to engage Ghanaian citizens to observe the COVID-19 protocols (more) and kick the pandemic out of Ghana.
