Ninja Man’s Son shot dead
As reported by the police’s Corporate Communications Unit, Ninja Man’s son whose name is Jammar Ballentine, otherwise called ‘Roy’ or ‘Ratty’ was shot and killed on Sunday morning after he reportedly went to look at a car accident.
Eyewitnesses reported that explosions were heard after which the police were called, on their arrival, the lawmen found Ballentine with multiple gunshot wounds, he was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Jammar who is 31 years old lived at a Lower Mall Road address in the Corporate Area. The motive for the killing is yet to be determined.
On the other hand, in 2020, Ballentine had to make multiple court appearances in connection reportedly being in possession of people’s identity information which is a breach of the country’s anti-lotto scam laws.
dancehall star Ninjaman, whose right name is Desmond Ballentine, is currently behind bars serving a life sentence for the murder of Ricardo ‘Ricky Trooper’ Johnson which took place back in 2009. The Don Gargan must serve at least 25 years in lockup before he will be eligible for parole. Ninja’s other son, Janeil, and co-convict Dennis Clayton both need to serve 15 years in jail before being eligible for release on parole.
According to a 2012 interview with the Jamaica Observer, Ninjaman said he has a total of 29 children with 28 different women.
