Nobody’s song in the “Reggae/Dancehall Song of the Year” was popular – Kamelyeon on #VGMA21

Kamelyeon has dropped a big bombshell that’s definitely going to ruffle feathers!
He claims nobody in the list of “Reggae/Dancehall Song of the Year” had a major hit with the songs listed.
“I think the VGMA Board was short of artistes and songs for the Reggae/Dancehall category and just decided to work with what they had. Most of the songs nominated were just mere releases that we saw and heard about but when it comes to proper promotion for those songs to become major hits, most of those songs nominated don’t qualify. If it was just about song releases then some of us too should have been in there”, Kamelyeon fires.

He also went on to question Samini’s single nomination in #VGMA21. “It amazes me why Samini isn’t listed in the ‘Reggae/Dancehall Song of the Year’ with any song but got nominated in the ‘Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year’. How did that happen?” Kamelyeon questions.
The Reggae/Dancehall crooner released a latest one last week titled “Super Energy” to close the month of February.
Kamelyeon is one of the artistes listed on JMJ’s “Riddim of the GODS” project who performed remarkably well and recorded two songs for that project.
