Nominees for first edition of Ghana Reggae and Dancehall Awards announced – Check Full List

The unveiling of nominees for the first edition of Ghana reggae and dancehall awards, (GRDA) finally took place at the Accra Laboma beach on Wednesday , July 26, 2023.

The nominees which were unveiled by the organizers – The award featured the big five categories: ‘Record of the Year’, New Artiste of the Year, Album of the Year, Most Popular Song and the ultimate ‘Artiste Of the Year’.

The ‘Artist of the Year award is the highest and most prestigious of the awards given at the event to the artist(s) adjudged by the GRDA Board and the general public as having the highest audience appeal, radio play, online streaming and popularity.

This year’s ‘Artiste of the Year’ Category, has nine heavyweights battling it out. They are Ras Kuuku, Epixode, JahLead, Blak Mexxiah, Jupitar, Konkarah JahVybz, Nii Lante, Osagyefo, Captan.
