Rustum Senorgbe officiates 1st Asante Kotoko home match against Bechem United

 

 

Class One center Referee, Rustum Gameli Senorgbe has been handed the Asante Kotoko vs Bechem United tie in the betPawa Premier league week 7 scheduled for the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday, October 29, 2023.

 

The SWAG Awardee has officiated 4 matches of Kotoko but all have been away; the first being Karela 0-1 Kotoko on March 6, 2020, a Week 13 fixture at the Akoon Park and the last being Dreams 2-0 Kotoko on February 12, 2023, a week 17 duel at Dawu.

 

It is the first time the Broadcast Journalist will be handling the porcupine warriors home match but the 2nd time to center an away match for Bechem United.

Efo Gameli officiated the Legon Cities 1-3 Bechem Utd at the El-Wak Stadium on January 27 this year, a week 14 encounter and his 32nd Premier League game. It will be his 43rd Premier League match at the Baba Yara Stadium come Sunday and of course, he is trusted to deliver to the admiration of all and with the able assistance by Paul Atimaka and Mikaal -Il Fazan on the lines.

 

Andrews Awurisa will not be left out in ensuring the game is handled well. Annan Lomotey is the Match Commissioner.

Asante Kotoko and Bechem Utd have both managed 2 wins each in their last 5 matches, with 1 draw. Last season, Bechem Utd won 2-0, while Kotoko won 1-0 in the return leg. It expects to be cagey encounter, as Kotoko lie 7th with 9 points while Bechem United occupy the 13th spot with 7 points.
