Seani B to host Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy on Asaase Radio 99.5, roadmap to #Clash2CrushCOVID

Seasoned international Reggae/Dancehall jock, Seani B, of BBC 1Xtra who also has a syndicated radio programme on Accra’s nouvelle radio station, Asaase Radio 99.5fm will be hosting the Ghana Dancehall heavyweights – Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy – on the night of Friday, July 31, 2020 between 20:00hrs GMT – 23:00hrs GMT.

For the first time both artistes will publicly, via the radio network speak about the upcoming “Clash2CrushCVOID” Concert.

News spread across social media earlier this week about Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy headlining the campaign to crush the global pandemic, COVID-19, in Ghana.

Powered by Asaase Radio 99.5fm, the show would go a long way to rouse the Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall scene.
Though details of the show hasn’t been (officially) communicated (yet), information available to BeenieWords.com reveals that the event will be staged in the month of August 2020.

Many Dancehall fans aficionados who have longed for this ‘fun-filled confrontation’ to happen are very excited. Other Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall artistes are also very hopeful this maiden event would go a long way to become a household initiative they can also benefit from.

Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale will be involved in varied campaigns with their platforms to highlight the purpose of the initiative (crushing COVID with Dancehall) leading to the main event.

BeenieWords.com will be dropping feeds prior to the main event and after, do keep your fingers crossed.

About The Show
The “Asaase Sound Clash” is teasing a clash between two dancehall heavyweights in the world, drawing from their artistic prowess and musical talents to help raise awareness about COVID-19 and how we can in our part do to stop the spread.

They’re using the “Asaase Sound Clash” to send a message out there that, throughout the COVID period, a lot has happened but, bent on heels to continue promoting Ghanaian Music/Musicians to the world even in these tough times. The purpose is to crush COVID with this initiative.

Asaase Radio 99.5fm also believes that, using the clout and reach of the stars would extend further to a mammoth audience to spread the message.

“Entertainment-wise, not a lot has happened due to COVID, that notwithstanding we think we can bring cheer to the homes of many Ghanaians and develop the industry. The future of competition aims to secure a more prolific and recognized line-up of artists with support and partners across the nation” – Asaase Radio.
