About African Renaissance Festival

The African Renaissance Festival seeks to restore and preserve our cultural heritage, give an account of African history and struggles, acknowledge contributions and achievements, exhibit the excellence and resilience of African people, despite being exiled throughout the world. The Festival intends to implement and cultivate engaging business opportunities, while bridging the communication between people of African descent in the Diaspora and Africans residing on the continent. Nevertheless, international cooperation and common problem-solving strategies are essential to the success of our endeavors. The African Renaissance Festival is also an inspiration from Marcus Garvey Jr., Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah and Emperor Haile Selassie 1st.
