The year 2020 is Black 2 The Future! And check out why!

A strictly hip hop event is set to light up the South African State Theatre’s Rendezvous on Thursday, 30 January 2020. The show is centered around bringing the culture together, particularly celebrating the old school as well as the leaders of new skool of hip hop.

Hosted in collaboration with the State Theatre, Mphankomo Creatives presents a star-studded line up comprising of some of SA hip hop’s most versatile artists, Gigi Lamayne and Zingah. Paired with Motswako’s next generation of lyricists, Fifi Cooper, HuGe Da Oracle and Maglera Doe Boy, the show already offers a dynamic view of hip hop’s timeline in recent years. Heralded hip hop DJ, Zai Maya, joins the feat along with Massiv Metro radio host, Azizzar, adding their presence as custodians of the culture.

Mphankomo Creatives is set on soliciting support from the hip hop community to make this show a fixture at Pretoria’s arts and culture hub. A long-term vision for the event includes extending a platform for upcoming artists to shine while honouring those who have laid a foundation for SA hip hop as we know it today.

Tickets are officially available for R150 at all Pick N Pay outlets via Webtickets: https://bit.ly/2RenXUL. Make sure to stay tuned to #Black2TheFuture through their Facebook page: Black 2 The Future.
