TV3 presents 2-Bedroom house to “Mentor Reloaded” Winner — SEE PHOTOS

Leading Ghanaian television station, TV3 Network on Friday 12th November 2021 presented a two-bedroom house to winner of Mentor Reloaded reality show, Optional King at a colourful ceremony in Accra.

The presentation of the house, located at the Lakeside Estate in Accra is in fulfillment of the company’s promise to award the ultimate winner of Mentor Reloaded with a two-bedroom plus other consolation prizes from sponsors.

After a few years of going on break, TV3 reintroduced the hit music reality show, Mentor, which was named Reloaded back to the number one television channel in late 2019. The key objective, as has always been, was to give an opportunity to young talented musicians to not only show their talent, but most importantly to find an avenue to launch their careers.

Speaking at the event, the General Manager of MG Television indicated that in relaunching Mentor, they thought of giving prizes that befit the show and would set the winner and runners up on a good road to enhancing their careers post Mentor. There were cash prizes to help produce their music, huge amounts of airtime to promote their music works and ultimately a house to be presented to the ultimate winner.

Mr. Doku added that “the final of Mentor Reloaded took place in February 2020 and while preparing to finalise prizes to be presented to the winner and runners up, COVID-19 struck and threw our plans off, especially so with the ultimate prize, the 2-bedroom house. All other prizes we presented to the winner and runners up as we awaited completion of the house to be presented. We were very hopeful that our partners in the procurement of the house to be presented to Optional King would come through, however as previously noted, the negative effects of the pandemic had thrown away plans and that affected our ability to deliver on the house in good time”.

An excited Optional King expressed his appreciation to the Management of TV3 for fulfilling the promise and assured his following the prize package will be an incentive to work harder and transition into a successful mainstream musician.
