“Use your Chieftaincy title to promote and elevate our local culture” — Wa Naa, Fuseini Seidu Pelpuo IV urges Samini

Pibliee Naa (Samini), as part of his electro-fusion project tour, pays a courtesy call on the Overlord of the Waala kingdom, Wa Naa Fuseini Seidu Pelpuo IV at his magnificent royal Palace. The sub chief (samini) and his team were accompanied by another sub chief, Mangu Naa, as custom demands.

His Royal Highness, Wa Naa, was excited to receive them as the team outlined the reasons for their visit to the upper West Region. They explained that the electro-fusion project was a collaboration of Samini, Kakatsitsi Master Drummers from Ghana and managed by Indigenous People, a UK base tour management company. The project sought to unearth traditional drummers, dancers, singers who use traditional instruments to create beats, melodies, etc, recruit those talents into the Kakatsitsi Master Drummers from Ghana and further export them to the world.

The Overlord expressed his heartfelt appreciation to his sub chief, Samini, for always standing tall as far as championing developmental chapters was concern and for selecting Upper West region for this life time opportunity. He directed Pibilee Naa Samini to use his Chieftaincy title (Pibilee Naa) in whatever capacity possible to elevate and promote the culture of the people in a manner that will benefit the people. Pibilee Naa Samini, before his enskinment as chief, has unearthed a number of talents in the region and beyond and has undertaken a number of projects that sought to foster peace, unity and promote development. This was one of the reasons why he was enskinned as Chief; to further advance the course of the people. Naa Fuseini Seidu Pelpuo IV assured Pibilee Naa Samini and his entourage of his unflinching support to this project and told them not to hesitate to come if they need any form of support from the royal Palace.

Wa Naa Fuseini Seidu Pelpuo IV used the platform to sound a warning to the general public especially the entertainment fraternity to refer to the artiste by his title: PIBILEE NAA SAMINI. He further directed that all those who flout this notice be treated with contempt.

You would recall that Samini was enskinned Pibilee Naa, a sub chief of the Waala traditional area and has since been accorded with that prestige by the Waala community
The electro-fusion project has since been launched with the team visiting every corner of the region to unearth these raw talents. Watch out for the team in your area.
