VGMA 2020: Samini wants Ras Kuuku to win “Best Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year”

Samini who has been equally nominated for the same category with Ras Kuuku, J. Derobie, Epixode, Jupitar and AK Songstress has thrown his weight behind Ras Kuuku to win the slot.

With no disrespect to himself and other artistes nominated he tweeted this (below);

This year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) which normally happened in the second quarter of the year was pushed back due to COVID-19 pandemic. The award stages this weekend from August 28-30. It is an event by Charter House Ghana.

Samini has dropped a latest song titled “Forever”. Growing gradually into a hit song by the day with skits and snippets flying across social media by fans. Samini is still held up in quarantine in Canada, with his family. He’s been there since March 2020.
