In a commendable act of solidarity, the team at Ahotor FM 92.3, led by General Manager Mr. Ahuma Ocansey Bosco, donated assorted relief items to aid flood victims in the Ada Constituency. The generous contribution, handed over to Hon. Comfort Doyoe Cudjoe Ghansah, MP for Ada Constituency, aims to alleviate the distress of approximately 6,000 people affected by the Akosombo Dam spillage.

Expressing gratitude, Hon. Doyoe Ghansah acknowledged the station’s empathetic gesture during a time of despair. She assured efficient distribution of the donations to the island communities within the constituency, where over 300 houses were submerged by the devastating spillage waters.

The timely intervention of Ahotor FM is part of the station’s ongoing humanitarian initiatives, reflecting its commitment to social responsibility. This proactive approach, spearheaded by the station, underscores the significance of community support during unforeseen crises.

As the relief drive continues, Ahotor FM remains dedicated to aiding communities impacted by the Akosombo Dam spillage, reinforcing its role as a responsible media outlet in times of need.
